We rolled up this morning to this 24,100 gallon backyard paradise because the customer was noticing calcium staining on their bright blue tile and was having problems with managing their chemistry. As calcium hardness increases in pools it literally sucks up chlorine which can make it troublesome as water temperatures increase.

    Initial Chemistry

    Total Dissolved Solids - 6064ppm
    Calcium Hardness - 700ppm
    CYA - 80ppm

After 20 hours of recycling due to high total dissolved solids a total of 20,000 gallons was conserved with the following final results.

    Final Chemistry

    Total Dissolved Solids - 900ppm
    Calcium Hardness - 120ppm
    CYA - 40ppm
